We used Rich to do a complete remodel of our kitchen. He was very easy to work with, kept us informed throughout the process, up front with pricing and we found him to be very trustworthy. We love our kitchen and we will be hiring Rich to do a bathroom expansion next.

First of all, I want to say I love our new kitchen and our new floors on the main level and would hire Rich Improvements again. If I could give 10 stars I would.
Rich remodeled our kitchen, a gut job as they say. We had a budget with a little wiggle room and Rich did everything to keep us in that budget. We had a layout that we wanted, leave sink where it is, take a wall down, shift appliances about 2 feet from original spot. We wanted a bigger family friendly kitchen and Rich worked with us without trying to change our minds. He was thorough in looking at the area and to come up with a quote.
We had several quotes for the remodel and we kept coming back to Rich, we just felt so comfortable with him and confident in his ability by just talking with him. Rich also was very patient with me as I made some changes, asked a lot of questions, made some requests and wasn’t sure on some things and he offered some absolute awesome ideas. Rich knew I wanted a lot more cabinets/storage and countertop as I had an old small 1963 kitchen. Every change I wanted to make he gave me an exact cost of what that change would cost me.
The communication from Rich was way above what we expected, he kept us in the know about everything. We knew what was happening each day which we appreciated. The communication was with Rich, not via email as some companies do. I loved the personal touch.
I was extremely worried about not having a kitchen for quite a while (10-12 weeks) but it was a great experience. We were able to use the rest of our main level (master bedroom, LR, and bath) at night and during the day we spent it in our rec room. They kept the kitchen and surrounding area clean and did everything they could to keep the dust confined to the kitchen.
All the contractors including Rich did a top-notch job, drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, flooring, tiling to the granite counter installers. Everyone was so professional and knowledgeable and it was a joy to converse with them. Any little issue Rich addressed immediately, nothing major, but we appreciated response.
Everyone that has seen the finished kitchen absolutely fell in love with it and they couldn’t believe the fantastic job that was done. I still cannot believe it is our kitchen. Love it.
There were two issues with the cabinet manufacturer; one tall pantry cabinet came damaged and the end panel below peninsula came wrong 3x’s. Rich immediately called the rep and worked with them to send a new cabinet and he tirelessly worked with them to get the end panel the correct color and the grain going the right way. That is the dedication that is needed from a great contractor.
I could keep going but you get the picture, if you want an honest, knowledgably, skilled, professional, personable, and actually cares about the work they do, call Rich.

Rich Improvements did a kitchen remodel for us last year. The experience was excellent all around. Rich spent the time planning with us and kept us briefed on all the work going on throughout the process. It finished on time, and it looks amazing. During the process, we ended up finding a significant water problem in our dining room that had apparently been going on for 20 years. Rich was able to fix it, despite it being quite extensive both inside the dining room and on the brick work on the front of the house. It looks great and doesn't leak; Rich gave us such peace of mind during that whole stressful project, and we were really grateful for that.

We highly recommend Rich Improvements!!

I previously worked twice with Rich Improvements before 2026 -
Roofing, Siding, Windows, Bathroom, Garage Add-on and Concrete, and Large Garden Shed.
Both experiences were large projects that were done on time and on budget with excellent quality.
Recently an Amazon delivery van drove into our home and amongst other things damaged a section of rain gutter and trim work.
Even though this was a very small job, Rich provided a quote and arranged for the replacement of the section.
The repair was timely, done quickly, installed flawlessly, and matched the existing gutters size and color perfectly.

Working with Rich and his team was a great experience! He remodeled my outdated non-functional kitchen and master bathroom - which was a unique situation in which I wanted to add a full shower into a very small half bathroom with no space to expand the footprint of the bathroom. He was the only contractor I talked to who was willing to take on the creative challenge without expanding the walls. Both rooms look amazing, and Rich was completely respecting of my budget and found affordable ways to get me what I wanted. All of the people (plumbers, electricians, drywallers, tilers, painters, etc.) who worked in the house were really great, trustworthy, easy to communicate with, and did phenomenal work. Questions and concerns were always addressed promptly, and Rich was great about communicating timelines and progress.

The quality of work was really outstanding above all else, and I would hire Rich again for any future projects.

Rich and his team did an outstanding job on my bathroom remodel. Every aspect of the bathroom was completed in a high quality and professional manner. They showed up on time and consistently communicated on all steps and visits during the remodel. The knowledge and attention to every detail on the project was much appreciated. I would highly recommend them for any project.

Rich finished two weeks early. The house was built in 1921 and we suspected we’d find some plumbing and electrical issues. Those were dealt with quickly and in a cost effective manner. I love my new kitchen!!
